Pembahasan mengenai efisiensi proses pengumpulan data telah kita lakukan pada artikel sebelumnya. Untuk memulai tahapan selanjutnya, kita perlu mengenal kobocollect sebagai tahapan yang penting sebelum memulai menggunakannya. Pada prinsipnya, dalam sistem kobo terbagi menjadi 3 bagian utama yaitu server, form builder, dan user (smartphone/web/tablet, dll).
1. Server berperan sebagai tempat penyimpanan semua draft form hingga deployed form dengan berbagai settingan tempat untuk pengaturan data yang masuk. terdapat 2 server yang tersedia seperti pada gambar dibawah ini dimana dibedakan berdasarkan pemanfaatan dan fasilitas pendukungnya saja. untuk server sebelah kiri maka akan memerlukan alamat server https://kc.humanitarianresponse.info sedangkan untuk server sebelah kanan akan menggunakan server https://kc.kobotoolbox.org/ dalam proses pemilihan perangkat yang disambungkan seperti nampak ditunjukkan oleh landingpage dari kobo di link berikut.
2. Form builder berperan sebagai media untuk pembuatan sejumlah list pertanyaan yang ingin diajukan dengan berbagai tipe pertanyaan yang tersedia
3. User (ODK Collect/Kobo Collect/Web Browser) yang berperan sebagai media pengumpulan datanya secara langsung baik itu dilakukan secara offline ataupun online.
Setelah masuk pada server tersebut, kemudian lakukan proses registrasi dengan mengisi pada lampiran informasi umum yang ada di link disini. catatan yang perlu diperhatikan dalam proses pembuatan pengisian ini adalah untuk username sebisa mungkin yang mudah untuk diingat agar ketika perlu login ulang dapat dilakukan dengan mudah.
Setelah proses pendaftaran selesai, lakukan login dan akan muncul tampilan default dari dashboard kobocollect secara keseluruhan seperti nampak pada gambar dibawah ini.
Tampilan dashboard kobo lebih bersifat kekinian dan mudah untuk dipahami. terdapat 4 garis besar dari seluruh panel yang ada di dashboard tersebut antara lain :
kotak ungu : adalah profil utama dan pengaturan-pengaturan utama yang diperlukan saat set up profil baru
kotak merah : adalah panel dari list project/form yang telah dibuat sebelumnya. terdapat 3 jenis tipe form yang ada disini. (Deployed untuk project yang sedang berjalan, draft untuk project yang sudah dibuat namun belum diluncurkan dan archived untuk project yang telah dibuat dan dianggap telah selesai. dalam kotak merah ini juga dapat dilihat secara langsung rekapan data, tanggal pembuatan dan tanggal perubahan terakhir.
kotak kuning : panel yang menunjukkan pembagian dashboard deployed, draft dan archived.
kotak hijau : merupakan panel tambahan yang bernama library untuk menambahkan atau menyimpan pertanyaan tertentu yang mungkin akan sering diajukan.
Demikianlah pengenalan singkat terkait kobocollect secara umum, selanjutkan kita akan bahas pembuatan form dalam kobotoolbox dalam materi selanjutnya di kobo-003.
